Train with people better than you

I've recently started training more with people who are fitter and stronger than me, and I've seen brilliant progress.

Here are a few compelling reasons why training like this is a game-changer:

Accountability- When you have a workout buddy counting on you, it's much harder to skip a session. You'll be less likely to hit that snooze button when your friends are waiting for you at the gym or park.

Motivation- Seeing people tackle challenging exercises and push their limits can be a tremendous motivator. Share your progress, celebrate each other's victories, and watch your determination soar.

Fun and social connection-Training with others makes workouts a social event. It's not just about reps and sets, it's about connecting, having fun, and building stronger bonds.

Healthy competition- A friendly competition can push you to work harder and surpass your personal records. Challenge each other to set new benchmarks and strive for progress together.

Safety and support- Having someone by your side can be a safety net, especially when trying new exercises or lifting heavier weights. Plus, your workout partner is there to spot you, offering valuable support during intense sessions.

Variety- Training with others with their own programmes can inject variety into your routine. You can try new workouts, sports, or activities together, keeping things fresh and exciting.

Accountability for nutrition- It's not just about training, partners can help you stay on track with your nutrition goals. Share healthy recipes, meal prep tips, and keep each other in check.

Do you prefer to train with friends or a lone wolf?
